Summer Extern Class 2023

KI Legal hosted an event and proudly presents our Summer Extern Class of 2023! Pictured here from left to right we have Adam A. Elashker, Daniel Malone, Panayioti Xenakis, and Jonathan M. Bae.

Adam, a rising 2L, is interested in corporate litigation, real estate, and bankruptcy law; his favorite class currently is his Real Property course. Daniel, a rising 3L, has developed interest in labor & employment law and commercial transactions. Panayioti, a rising 2L, wants to learn more about bankruptcy and real estate law; his favorite class so far has been Property, owing to its medieval conceptual origins and its role in broader conversations about the role of private interests and the public good. Lastly, Jonathan, a rising 2L, is interested in property law.

Adam, Daniel, Panayioti, and Jonathan are part of KI University 90-day Externship Program, which provides externs with real experience in:

(I) Conducting Legal Research And Analysis,
(II) Legal Writing Skills,
(III) Presentation Skills,
(IV) Issue Spotting,
(V) Litigation Competence,
(VI) Corporate/Transactional Competence, and
(VII) Technology And Resource Utilization

Through this program, Adam, Daniel, Panayioti, and Jonathan have the opportunity to learn great skills that will help them in the future as they continue on their legal paths. By helping them gain valuable insight and first-hand experience, we aim to give them all the tools necessary to be adequately prepared for their legal career.
