Overseeing the marketing and branding of the firm, she develops and implements cohesive marketing and public relations plans firmwide, coordinates creative and strategic efforts to increase brand awareness for all departments, sets current and long-term marketing goals for the staff, and furthermore, plans and maintains the marketing budget, comprised of digital, social media, print, technology, events, memberships, associations, and advertising.
Born and raised in New York, and based in South Florida, Laura is a goal-oriented individual with strong leadership capabilities and team playing expertise. She has spent nearly 20 years working with and at the most sought out public relations agencies and lifestyle clients in the world; developing PR strategies, creating campaigns, negotiating budgets and marketing deals, working with celebrities and curating creative partnerships within various industries that include fashion, hospitality, real estate, law, and of course Hellenic and philanthropic. Collaboratively with KI Legal, she is the Executive Director of the Miami Hospitality Alliance, a new organization focused on advocating for the rights of restaurants, bars and clubs in Miami.
Laura provides overall branding and business growth guidance, sound leadership and strategic marketing direction for all. She has a track record of successfully launching new hotel concepts and real estate developments, creatively creating and generating continuous awareness for her clients, being a strategic partner in problem solving, and always works side-by-side her team to determine the right path of success. Laura believes that, “by connecting, we create a kinder world.” She values relationships, is flexible with her approach ensuring goals are being met, and truly believes in partnerships for the long-haul.
Hellenic and philanthropic initiatives are very near and dear to her heart. Over the years, she has lead events and fundraised for Saint Basil Academy (a residential school for at-risk students run by the Greek Orthodox Archdiocese of America located in Garrison, NY) and the Cyprus Children’s Fund (a 501(C)(3) tax exempt, non-profit organization that provides help not only to generationally affected refugees and enclaved children, but also to children that come from families struggling with economic and medical challenges). To this day, she continues to be a published author and a speaking head within several public relations and Hellenic-focused media outlets.
Currently, Laura volunteers her time within several platforms and serves as a Board Member of the CYPRUS-U.S. Chamber of Commerce, where she was the founding president of the Cypriot Young Professionals organization in 2013 (a role that combined her love of connecting business professionals together, developing impactful programs for members and creating mentorship and global networking opportunities).
Laura received a B.S. in Marketing from SUNY Binghamton’s School of Management.
